How we formulate
Boring doses. Rigorous reasons.
The supplement industry rewards exciting labels. We would rather earn trust with conservative, well-evidenced ones.
Two limits. The stricter one wins.
Every nutrient has two numbers that matter: how much a day needs, and how much a day can safely hold. The US and Europe each publish those limits, and they often disagree. We design to the stricter one, and we assume you also eat food. The target: your diet plus Senzu stays near half of the stricter limit, or below.
What that looks like
Take vitamin B6. The US caps supplemental B6 at 100 mg per day. Europe, after a 2023 review, caps it at 12 mg. The Senzu One draft carries 1.7 mg: the adult daily requirement, sitting under both caps with room to spare.
Forms your body recognizes
Vitamin D as D3, the form sunlight makes. K2 as MK-7, the long-acting form. Folate already methylated. Magnesium as glycinate, not the oxide your body mostly ignores. Fat-soluble vitamins ride in the oil softgel with the omega-3s, because that is how they absorb.
The omega-3 standard
The softgel targets 500 to 1000 mg of EPA and DHA combined, the range where the evidence concentrates. The current draft is 600 mg, in triglyceride form, the way it occurs in fish. That is roughly an eighth of Europe's safety ceiling of 5 grams per day. Freshness is measured, not assumed: every batch will carry strict oxidation (TOTOX) limits.
What we leave out
Iron, everywhere except Senzu XX. People who don't need iron shouldn't take it. Megadoses. A B vitamin at 50 times the requirement mostly ends up in the toilet, fluorescently. Proprietary blends. Every ingredient and form, in the open. Weak evidence. If we can't defend an ingredient, it doesn't ship, no matter how well it would sell.
What a supplement can't do
It can't fix a poor diet, replace sleep or movement, or stand in for care from your doctor. It can cover the gaps real-life eating leaves, consistently, at doses that make sense. We will never claim more than that.*
